The NCDPJC is very pleased to relay the news that, in a vote of 163 to 130, the SEC voted down a divisive resolution so we can focus on supporting our incredible candidates as they fight to make life better for North Carolinians.
It’s with great pride that I congratulate our entire team that includes our board members, volunteers, and supporters. It was a group effort that was managed by our incredible First Vice Chair, Amy DeLoach. I’m sure you all understand the amount of stress, perseverance and dedication that comes with dealing with a subject that is this divisive in our political environment. Thank you Amy for your continued efforts!
In addition, I’d like to call out an unsung, but incredibly important member of our team, John Kibler. John is our volunteer treasurer who manages our funds and our quarterly reports to the Board of Elections. It’s not an easy job, but John is a seasoned pro that keeps us in good standing. His heartfelt comments to the SEC helped secure this vote.
Another shout-out to Charles DeLoach who spoke eloquently on behalf of the Caucus to push back the resolution. We need more energized young members like Charles!
Right now, our team is gratefully taking a well-earned rest. Thank you to YOU, our membership that helps us stand up for what makes our party strong. We will be continuing to organize and fundraise during this election season to promote candidates that represent our Democracy and Jewish values. Thank you for your activism and your prayers. Am Yisrael Chai…
